remember that day last fall when i rode my bike around cutting hydrangea clippings from my neighbors?
you don’t remember?
it’s ok, neither do my neighbors….jk. they just all thought i was nuts.
hydrangea are incredible.
they’re hearty and do so well in the cooler beach climates here in newport beach.
you can take a cutting, stick it in some growth powder and sandy soil, and voila…
it starts getting little leaves and roots. then you transplant and they take off like this one hidden amongst the impatiens.
and then there’s the shade garden that i’ve planted…i’ve always wanted a shade garden and have finally been able to plant all the pretty stuff i’ve been pinning for years on my Pinterest shade garden board.
don’t you love when a good Pinterest dream comes to life?
aren’t these containers so pretty? i love the maiden hair…so delicate and soft.
the rich and vibrant colors make me happy. 🙂
the kids keep asking me why there are empty picture frames by our front door.
boys. 🙂
